Jeb Bush is Done

There is a big part of me which says "serves the thieving bastard right" after the fiasco of the Gore/ Bush election, and his role in that travesty. Not another *********** Bush. On the other hand, somehow, this time he seemed to be the best chance for sanity and reason to prevail in the Republican party, so the field just became even more insane and unreasonable.

Not really. Revisit his actions in the Terry Schiavo fiasco. Trump may talk like he wants to be a dictator, but Jeb's actually tried to act like one.

I hope that Jeb Bush donates any unused campaign money to charity. I wonder how long Kasich and Carson will last.

I am so glad this guy has left. I don't know if I could take one more debate seeing that terrified smile under W's eyes.

And I'm glad it's one less Whitehouse dynasty to worry about.

Though admittedly it's not much of a victory, considering who is still left in play.

I don't know if there's much anything left. Already days ago the word was that Jeb! was was telling his donors he's going to fold if not among the top-three in SC. So, as it problably was a last push I don't think there was much money left.

I wonder how long Kasich and Carson will last.
I wonder that too. And then the next step is to wonder who might the one to run with Trump?

Brief story here on all the wasted money and what will be done with any that is left over from his SuperPac (hookers and blow probably since there are no rules):

I guess Bernie Sanders is right. There really is too much money in politics. Although it doesn't seem to be having the effect Sanders is fretting about.

Donald Trump, by contrast, had spent a total of $24 million through the end of last month.

Indeed. Money doesn't guarantee results, though it probably gives a better chance.

Money helps get your name out there, but Trump doesn't need money to help with that, he's already got the 24 hour news networks following him around like puppies.

I have to admit that the effect of money in politics in the elections doesn't seem as great as we were led to believe.

On the other hand, the effect of money on politicians is pretty clear.
