I've killed my router. Help!

I was trying to upgrade the firmware on my D-Link DSL-G604T router. When I reset it after the upgrade, it no longer allows me to access the configuration page. When I type in the IP address it asks for the username and password, but then goes to a blank page.

Any ideas?

I think I can talk to it via telnet, whatever that is...

Open a command prompt and type
telnet 192.168.1.1
you'll then have a command line interface to the router - kind of like the windows command prompt.

I get the blank page if I try to access the router in Safari (Mac browser), but not if I use Firefox. You might try a different browser yourself...

Panic over, at least temporarily. I found an australian version of the firmware that came as an .exe, so I've managed to get it working.

iirc the d-link firmware upgrades reset your system to the default ip, admin login, and password.
