I know we have vets & MDs here. I don't remember ever seeing anybody with a dental background before----but I'll ask anyway.
Is there any kind of implied warranty on dental procedures involving new hardware such as crowns & bridges?
I had some fancy bridgework done in mouth about 3 years ago. I was eating the other day--heard something crack--and noticed the teeth were slightly loose.
I went to the dentist who told me that the bridge had broken.
I asked him if there was a warranty on it?
He said he didn't know--they're not supposed to break-- and he doesn't remember ever having one break in his practice.
He left it as "He'll have to check with the dental lab about it".
If he's say's "no..tough " I'd like to have some kind of basis for an arguement.
