I've been wondering this for a couple of days now. I don't think I've ever heard anyone use the word mice in reference to a plural of computer mouse.

It's definitely in use. On modern Linux systems, the combined mouse device node for all pointer input devices is even called "/dev/input/mice".

Hard to argue about taste, but if the captions in the Wikipedia article are any indication "mice" is the canonical form. "Mouses" sounds weird to me, but then again I'm not a native speaker of English.

One mouse. Two mice.

One spouse. Two....?

Inglish iz veird.

I use mouses just because it's then clear that I mean the electronic thing and not the rodent.

But I know plenty of folk who use mice.
