When I hear mothafunking Patrick J. Buchanan saying that Kerry shouldn't concede the race or Ohio because he could still win it - Yeah, Pat Buchanan! - I have to wonder: should he (Kerry)?

There is still about 8% of the vote out - roughly 400,000 votes outstanding with the current red lead of 105,000 votes or something - and that percentage combined with the provisional votes could mean that Ohio depends on counting for a couple more days.

***Smoking something ALERT***

This also means that Bush could conceivably win the popular vote and still lose the election - the ultimate in poetic justice.

***/smoking***

Now the "early callers" have Bush with 269 and Kerry with 221. The "late callers" have Bush with 249 and Kerry with 207.

So tired.........

Well, MSNBC is projecting Bush with 269 vs. Kerry with 207
CNN is projecting 249 vs. 211
and CBS is projecting 249 vs. 238...

Damnation, I hate close elections...

NBC, Fox, and MSN have it as 269 electoral votes AND the popular vote for Bush...

On top of that, with 99% (1478 of 1495 ) of New Mexico in, Bush has a 2% lead...99% of Iowa (2063 of 2079 ) has Bush ahead by 2%, and Nevada at 99% (1795 of 1802 ) is also showing Bush by 3%...

Any of those states alone puts Bush over the top, but the media won't call it....

Because the Democrats are talking about 52 million dollars and 10,000 lawyers to sue over absentee and provisional ballots...
