[Geek]I mean, most of the time, except for holiday specials, there's only 1 Doctor. And then you've got 1-3 assistants. And that's it. I'm not so sure I'd call this an organization. Group or team, sure. Squad? Nah, even that's going to far. They can't even contact HQ for more help (not even in "The War Games", which was more along the lines of 'You take over, were splitting'.

Now, WHO (World Health Organization)... that's an organization. They even have 'organization' in their name![/Geek]

Well, there's the High Council of Time Lords.

Last I checked, the Doctor was Lord President, even. :)

Ah, but Gallifrey is gone, so CURRENTLY, Dr. Who can no longer be called an organization (unless the Doctor starts a REALLY heavy recruiting program)

(one female assistant at a time) ;)

The Doctor (Dr Who is eth name of eth programme, not a character) is no more an organisation than the president of the USA in an organisation, dispiate the fact that there are assistants and vice presidents. The president had had even more regenerations than the Doctor, which may explain why something went so horribly wrong with the latest regeneration, it's word that Colin baker fer Christ's sake!

There've been a few snags in the training program. (youtube)

There is often overlap. Then you have the tardis itself, which is a living entity.

I've come to this thread fom the future, where we've run out of pointless things to discuss.
