So Qudaffi has decided to play nice and give up his lame nuke program and pay up for Lockerbee ect... SO WHAT!!!! That doesnt make him any less of a freedom hating oppresive badly dressed dictator now does it.

If we're gonna beat the drum of "freedom and democracy" for the people of Iraq and Afganistan, then why shouldnt we do the same for the Lybians...

Doesn't say a lot for American Intelligence. All we'd need to see now is links between GHQaddfffiii (or however it's spelt today) and OBL for the farce to be complete.

Mm. You know, the first thought that sprang to mind when you said that was "I wonder if the reason we didn't know about them before is that Libya doesn't really have any".

It would be a great scam to say "If you let us back into the world community you can come and inspect all our weapons programmes", knowing all along that you haven't actually got any in the first place.

Well, the last time we sent planes to bomb Libya they "accidently" hit the french embassy after the french were so much help in not letting us fly over their country.

But since Germany has been so helpful lately in Iraq, I'm sure you have nothing to worry about ....
