Interesting discussion in BMJ responses on CAM

In the BMJ there has been an interesting discussion on the merits of CAM, with rational scientists like David Colqhoun leading the fight (but getting voted down for doing so)

They do tend to pile in, but interestingly it was only him who got the up votes, and not other loonies. I think he must does it himself, through some multiple vote system.

Thank you for the link, it is simultaneously hilarious and depressing.

Almost the full gamut of delusional thinking is on display.

As a lot of the alt-medders claim to be well educated and must have been exposed to some sort of rational thinking, the conclusion must be that there is a lot of actual fraud mixed in with the delusional.
