Infection or spoof?

I've gotten bounced messages from people saying that I sent them a virus, but I don't open attachements from strangers, the messages don't show up in my sent folder, and I've received the bounced messages before getting the actual virus. So I'm thinking that maybe I've just had my address spoofed by the virus. Am I being overly optimistic?

No, your address is being spoofed by a virus.

BTW, I sometimes get spam from myself (my spoofed address).:a2:
