Inconceivable Sariras

In Buddhism, some senior monks, when cremating, rainbow and thunder will appear in sky;and after cremation they will leave all kinds of sariras. Some sariras are like gems, they are very strong that can not be smashed with a hammer; some have word or a statue above. And a kind of sarira is body sarira.Body sariras do not decay even past hundreds years(like Saint Bernadette); and even fire can not burn. Some body sariras will be gradually reduced or even completely disappeared.

How to explain?

I think human beings are like star beings. Some stars will collapse into white dwarfs;largers will explode as supernova and become neutron stars;and largest giants may become black holes. There maybe microstars in our hearts, they are growing through hard practice, and when they are dying, the energy will release out and then they can do some miracles? I guess...

this is a skeptics forum op, you are expected to give evidence when you make a claim. Your post contains not one mote of evidence, it is nothing more than a story.

I can do that too, watch:

I can shoot fireballs out of my eyes. Now lets all discuss , at length how i can do this. While avoiding me actually having to show that it happens.

I think an easier explanation is that the person doing the cremation tossed a gem into the ashes afterwards to play with the gullible.

I heard that when the holy monk Srivirandamandabarbimalibu was burned on his funeral pyre, the body sat up and declaimed fifty sutras, and then shone with a golden light and fifty monkeys burst out of it, and each one bore a fiery gem and inside each gem was tiny monkey bearing an even fierier gem, and they danced to a great music that rose like colored smoke from the opium pipes the witnesses were smoking at the time.

Gallstones? Those are mostly calcium oxalate, which might survive the fire...

One possible scientific explanation for the phenomenon is that they are bladder or kidney stones which survive the cremation. Also, there is evidence that under certain conditions of heating, human bones can form crystalline structures.[7] Sarira are purported to appear after a cremation, and so this could be the mechanism by which they are made. In one chemical analysis, sariras were found to be composed of matter from bones and stones.[8] But there are also hair, meat and blood sariras.[9] These are of course a naturally expected by-product of cremation. It is probable that after a cremation, sarira would be present in any human remains, as there is doubtful any physiological differences between the structure of the bodies of a highly advanced Buddhist master compared to that of a layman... Although the common conception is that the majority of bones in the human body are of a size ranging from that of the femora to the phalanges of the fingers, it is rather the case that many of the bones in an average human skeleton are smaller than the more rare, larger bones, and range from the microscopic (as in the ossicles of the inner ear) to the size of a pea, small nut, or pearl. It is possible that some sarira may be these smaller bones, which survived the crematory process relatively intact. As well, a certain confirmation bias may be at hand when considering the phenomenon.

Gallstones...I think this hypothesis can explain some phenomenons;but this hypothesis can hardly explain why some sariras with shape as Buddha and some with characters on them. It's rarely to be found some gallstones or kidney stones with highly artistic value.

Body sariras do not decay even past hundreds years(like Saint Bernadette)...

Saint Bernadette's body isn't as incorruptible as some faithful would have you believe.

Her 'face' is a wax mask made to hide the black mold spreading over her body.

now thats a claim thats testable, why don't they go for that?

Ah its not paranormal....lol

Buddhist practice is to escape from samsara, rather than gain super-powers...and...They're in the other world now...
