Actually, that site is even worse than I thought. Looking through some of their other pages about it, it's clear that these people are completely nuts. A point-by-point refutation is probably useless (though if anyone's interested about specific points, I'm sure we can all pick them apart rather easily). But it's really disheartening to see hwo wacked out some people really are about this sort of crap. Their arguments aren't even interally consistent, let alone connected to reality.

Absolutely correct. And not one thing has changed in seven years.

Nor will it in seven more, or seven hundred. You can't fix stupid. It is completely safe to ignore these people, as the record shows.

Thanks for the flash back. I remember reading that when I use to "lurk" this forum.

Remembering back when "debunking" was all about science and not "counter-propaganda".

Oh they haul it out all the time, Gage and co. still use this nonsense.

That's the problem with the truth movement cult, they make extraordinary claims without any physical evidence. Then on top of that they get caught lying or being deceitful about any other supposed proof they have.

I'm not sure who has more credibility these days, truthers or the people claiming to have caught Bigfoot.

Unfortunately, it's since become clear that even the "jillion eyewitnesses and plenty of film and photos" was not sufficient to stop them.

There are times I consider going the Gravy route and cease interacting with them myself. I've already learned quite a bit here, and frankly, the interactions with them have become even dumber than they've been in the past. And those conversations were pretty low intellectually to begin with.
