We are pleased to announce that we will be holding a special Sydney
Skeptics Dinner Meeting in honour of Ian Rowland, our overseas guest
speaker at the National Convention in Canberra on August 22-24.
Ian Rowland is a British professional investigator of the paranormal,
mentalist magician, and writer. His book, "The Full Facts Book of
Cold Reading", is widely regarded as the standard text for those
wishing to understand how psychics and the like arrive at the
information they feed to their clients. Ian has performed his "Beyond
the Psychic" presentation to Skeptics groups, universities and on TV
in the UK , Europe and the USA. A master of his field, he comes
highly recommended by no less an authority than the Amazing James
Randi.
This will be his first visit to Australia, and we are delighted that
he has agreed to do a special performance in Sydney for those who
could not make it to the convention, or those who would like to see
him again.
