A brief but entertaining email exchange. I decided to keep the person anonymous and rub out his signature to give him the shield of anonymous.

Mr. Science Person

Hi Mark

Are the comments from you....or who made "screw loose change"?

Sorry for stealing your time.

Me
Yes the comments are from me.

Mr. Science Person
I don't want to offend anybody. But I am not sure if you really understood the beginning of Loose Change. You ask for direct connections to 9/11??? Come on, it is not about linking this directly to 9/11, it is about showing what they are able to do and what they were willed to do before. I know what a conspiracy theory is...and I am sure many things are not objective as well. But, there are so many strange things on this day, so many things they do not fit and there are no answers....evidence has been removed etc.
I am a scientist...and I tell you, there is no way....that all this events can scientifically be explained by the official theory. Maybe there is a single circumstance, something strange...that sometimes happens...but on that day...there were a way to many weird things going on to be natural....
Instead of criticizing the people who tell others to wake up and to be not as naive as they were up to this day....you should make them aware what's going on in the world. Look to the foreign politics of the U.S....before Iraq.....and now what's going to be the next..Iran...its all ********....

I hope the responsible people will pay for this, sooner or later....but its not those who are blamed for it

Me
If these events cannot be explained scientifically, why don't you prove them wrong? The NIST report is available for anyone to look at and there is nothing stopping you from writing your own report and getting it reviewed by scientific journals. For someone who is a scientist, your actions seem to be the backwards from the scientific methods. Show your evidence and math.

However, just remember that many people have looked at the NIST and the official story as well. Structural engineering societies and even MIT have taken a look. They don't dispute what happened on 9/11. Neither does Leslie E Robertson, the lead structural engineer of the Twin Towers.

Mr. Science Person
Well....you should also consider, that the government supports most of the scientific institutions. The government is controlling science in the US to a large extent. The same happened in environmental science. People who complained or stood up against lost their job and their reputation.
For so long global warming was just a "lie" here....looooooooool...

The US government is manipulating news, science and the American population...

The NITS report...come on....lol....

you do not need calculations to proof that there is no way the towers can fall with free-fall speed.

However, I am not discussing these thing via email, that is dangerous here....I just wanted to tell you that you should really assume the worst things....these people would go very very far to retain the world order and rule....at the end, its is all about resources and money.....that's all what rules....

I hope these people pay the price for all this....

Mr. Science Person

Look to the politics of the US. all the fake connections they made...Where are the weapons of mass destruction...WHERE ARE THEY????...IRAQ is a mess.....It all belongs together, open your eyes...nobody can be so blind.....

its all fake and ********....and every tear for a dead American soldier coming from bush an co is a lie...

Mr. Science Person

and the references...!!!!

My final email

you do not need calculations to proof that there is no way the towers can fall with free-fall speed.

You call yourself a scientist with statements like this? At least I can thank you for your Trashbin donation and yet another addition to the ignore list. I don't waste my time with pseudo-wannabe intellectuals like yourself.

This is what I don't understand about these 9/11 Deniers. What makes people like Mark Roberts, myself, this forum, and Popular Mechanic's arguments so strong is we happen to cite sources from actual professionals within the related field. Think bombs were planted? Ask a demo expert. How much damage did WTC7 sustained? Let's ask the FDNY witnesses who were down there, including the fire commanders.

Then you turn your head to the 9/11 Deniers like this dumb schmuck who emailed me and you wonder how on Earth in this technology age can someone be so incorrect and inconsistent. It's like these people blow up bridges in their train of thought on purpose just to see where they'll end up.

As for this gentlemen, I won't reveal personal information since they were in his signature and I'm pretty nice guy about this sort of stuff, but all I'll say is two things:

- He does work in a University
- He does deal with Physics, but not engineering

You mean these are what that woo in Iowa (or wherever he is) says...he is there latest pride and joy until they get another :)

It's really sad the way these guys grasp at air.

Why do people spell worse in Iowa?
Dr. Crockett Grabbe
Ph. D. Physics

It is the same rhetoric he used in his video interview.

I do not care if they have PhDs in Physics, Engineering, Biology, and a dozen others...if all they do is say "I think 9/11 was an inside job" without any science based on their "expertese" to back it, they might as well be sheep F&*kers.

TAM:)

That's a good thing you didn't say uncle f**kers or Matt and Trey might have sued you in England :)

Hey, I'm incredibly anal about spelling. I'm not perfect, but I use spell check and can usually find the right homophone to use.

(Get me out of here. Everyone is crazy or stupid. Sometimes both.)

This guy is from IOWA???

*sigh* That's it, I'm moving.

ETA - he can't be FROM Iowa, he's just employed here and teaching our kids. Gee, I feel better.

Now, now, TAM. Even Australians aren't that stupid.

According to the internet, that term relates to people in the UK and New Zealand gumboot :p.

Yeah, but then again, this is coming from a guy who admits to being a Hawks fan, which makes me question your judgement. :)

I liked this comment
Well....you should also consider, that the government supports most of the scientific institutions. The government is controlling science in the US to a large extent.

THis is very disenginuous. I am a scientist who is funded by the US government. However, given that, 1) the government does not dictate the types of things I study. At the best, this is dictated by other scientists, who review the things I propose to do to ensure that it is cutting edge science, and 2) even given that, no one has ever told me what I should be finding out. They look to what I have discovered.

Now, the writer mentions something about climate change science. Although there are instances in the current administration where the government has tried to suppress the opinions of staff scientists, 1) when it happened, the scientists spoke up - scientists aren't in the business of allowing the government to control their opinions, 2) federally funded research demonstrating the extent of climate change has been thoroughly discussed in the scientific literature - the government is not controlling that even though it is paying for it, and 3) even if it happened, that is ONE instance, and is far from a "large extent"

Nice try Gumboot, but that term applies to New Zealanders.

If you don't like it I suggest you start treating your sheep less like spouses and more like dinner.
