The newspaper I work for received an ad from a hypnotherapist headlined, "Past Life Regression Therapy."
I brought up the point that we should be lending validity to such nonsense. The publisher agreed and would only allow the ad in the Entertainment section.
Instead, the headline was changed to, "Life Regression Therapy." It was a small victory. Alas, the advertiser has complained of not getting a response. We've caved and are back to "Past Life."

It's another example of how a bad economy promotes the growth of irrationality.

Your failure is unacceptable. You will commit seppuku to redeem your honor and I will be your second.

Natural Hypnotheraphy: The new paranormal rage

Ahhhhh you cite just plain old hypnotheraphy. The new rage (at least on the west coast) are intuitive consultants specializing in natural hypnotherapy. It's way, way beyond whole wheat psychicola. Oregon police psychic Laurie McQuary seems to spend as much time on hypnotheraphy and sensing past soul mates as in associating herself on murder cases. So is it reasonable to assume this has become a major money maker across the United States? I've had a few comments on this transitional move towards hypnotheraphy along with McQuary's claims at http://www.amindformurder.com/OregonPolicePsychic.htm

As opposed to future life regression, I suppose.

I don't understand why the aromatherapy crowd hasn't latched on to the soothing properties of farting. That's as natural as it gets.

Actually, I see this as a positive thing. Do you think the change of that one word led to a flood of responses? I doubt it. Maybe people are smarter than we think.

It's actually referred to as "Future Life Progression."
I've yet to move to New York and die, which 20 years ago my brother's friend said would happen to me. I suppose it could be how I end up.

Natural hypnotherapy. Because all those others are practicing unnatural hypnotherapy.

Hey!!! I've got a new gimmick for my stage hypnosis show!!!!

:hypnotize:

Meet J.Frank A. - The Natural Stage Hypnotist.

I bring you on stage and put you under the natural way. Not with that artificial swinging watch.

Hey, I've seen worse gimmicks from other stage hypnotists... :D

You mean, with a hammer?

As opposed to past life progression? ;) Whoever named these must work for the Dept. of Redundancy Dept.

You're obviously not the kind of person to take that to heart, but what if you had been? Rather irresponsible of him, I'd say.

I think people are dumber than we think. I come across that everyday.
