Dollar ReDe$ign Project

It's a contest to redesign the dollar (private, not official), but one wit submitted a set of "Ameros," issued by the "North American Union."

Currently it's at the bottom of page two, but that could change with additional entries.
Other suggestions include replacing Washington with Obama on the $1 and Franklin with FDR on the $100.

Good fun! :D

Obama will go on the 10,000 dollar bill.

The one you'll be buying a loaf of bread with in ten years. :p

What they sell in America as "bread" isn't anything like real bread.

Then again, what they sell as money..... :p

The bread here is quite good if you know where to get it. Not the sliced foam rubber they sell in the supermarket. There are lots of good local bakeries that make wonderful bread. It depends on the water.

As far as the money goes, well the Chinese seem to like it.

But still a long way to go to catch up to Zimbabwe

Eh, money is arbitrary anyway. My suggestion? Stock up on canned goods and shotguns.

Where the hell did you get that from?

The e-mail I got from the zimbabwian assitant deputy treasurer said he and I were the only people who knew about it!

I saw the Amero note. It is all wrong. Not only does it not have any French writing on it, the English is above the Spanish. Everyone with even a passing knowledge of the Amero knows that the purpose is to not create equal partners but to make the U.S. subservient to Mexico - the Spanish goes on top. [/ConspiracyMode]

I purchased two from here:

Two for $A10.00, and paid too much, as I believe that they had already been de-monetised by the time I got them (gave the other to my son, who is now a rich multi trillionairre, but the one I still have is a great talking piece. :)
