I woke up yesterday morning with an odd memory from the night before. I distinctly remember seeing my flatmate open my door and walk into my room while I was in the kitchen cooking dinner.
Even though the memory was so clear and definite - I knew that it could not have happened because:
1. The only reason for my flatmate to go into my room would be to drop my mail off, and she usually slides it under my door. and
B. I would have said something. like "Hey - what the hell are you doing in my room?"
I came to the obvious conclusion that even though this felt like the most vivid memory - it must have been a dream.
So - I get home late on monday night and there's a package waiting for me on the floor in my room. For it to get there my flatmate must have opened my door and taken a couple of steps into my room. Exactly what i saw hapen in my dream/memory.
Spooky huh?
It was a very strange and disturbing series of events. Without a solid skeptical background - this event would have been enough to convince me of the possibility of precognitive dreams. As it is I'm going to start keeping a diary of any other dreams like this (or a blog of some sort)... Just in case
