I had a dream last night...

And in my dream I was with a group of children with psi powers.

We were standing on a hilltop. The wind was gusting, picking up leaves and carrying them along.

I yelled "stop" and the wind in one direction came to a dead calm. I rotated around all four sides and said "stop" until all was calm on the hilltop and we laid in the grass looking up at the clouds and sun.

I then had a thought and grew afraid.

Then I turned to one of the other kids and said "can you imagine if one of us decided we'd like the sun a little bit closer?"

"So?"

"The shockwave would destroy the Earth."

And then I woke up....

But it got me thinking in the shower this morning.

What if psi really worked in like say the character Storm in X-men.

Imagine the amount of weight a few hundred feet of air has.... and to bring it to a screeching halt.

Imagine stopping say a hurricane... the amount of force it would take and what it would do to the weather patterns on the planet.

Jambo... you should be glad our psychic friends can only move a fork or a pencil.

Ah well, I prefer the dreams with naked women or when I can fly.

I had a dream the other night that there were two men with handlebar mustaches and old-fashioned suits with vests and pocket watches in my library, and they presented me with a book on the method-acting techniques Dennis Franz uses on the show "NYPD Blue." One of the pages was like a pop-up book, except what popped up was an actual bowl of, well, I guess food would be the "best" thing to call it. It was, according to what I read on the adjacent page, the meal that he consumes every time he gets ready to shoot a scene. It consisted primarily of olives, bowtie pasta, and gasoline.

Then I went to the hospital, which just so happened to double as the airport. John Kerry was there dressed as Indiana Jones, whom he had played in the movie in my twisted dream world. Before I was permitted to enter, I had to play this 2-D, side-scrolling videogame called "Corridor Hospital," where this guy with a jetpack navigates this demented looking hospital with amorphous, diagonal shafts, a "polar" room complete with ice stalactites and penguins and polar bears, as well as a "spiky hell" room covered with the eponymous metal spikes and rife with demonic farm animals.

Isn’t my dream awesome!?

Must... get... song... stuck in head... OUT!!!

I had a dream last night the world was set on fire
Everywhere I ran there wasn't any water
The temperature increased
The sky was crimson red
The clouds turned into smoke
And everyone was dead

But there's a smile on my face for everyone
There's a golden coin that reflects the sun
There's a lonely place that's always cold
And there's a place in the stars for when you get old

Sorry. Couldn't be helped.
