For those who don't know, Ray Comfort has recently taken it upon himself to advance the young-Earth creationist movement by writing a fifty-page introduction to Darwin's On the Origin of Species. The entire introduction basically amounts to nothing more than one long ad hominem attack on Darwin, and takes the standard tactic of trying to link evolution to the Nazi movement, eugenics and racism. These copies of the book would be distributed free at colleges across America, provided that someone at the college a) asked that copies be sent for distribution and b) donated a large sum of money.
When I found out about this, I found myself wishing that I could get a copy of it, but didn't think that it would happen at my particular university. Too bad - it would be cool to have a copy just as memorabilia, I thought.
Well, it turns out that the good ol' bottom-of-the-barrel American IQ hasn't let me down. Someone here actually donated their hard-earned cash to this whack job and ordered copies of the book!
Again, w00t!
I got one this afternoon from my roommate, who had taken the book out of pity for the guy distributing them and didn't really want it. I'm going to hang on to this. It'll probably end up in a box on my mantle someday. Now all I need to do is to track down Comfort and Cameron to get their autographs on my copy.

I wonder if someone is going write a fifty page introduction to the bible, comparing it to the Nazi movement, eugenics, and racism, and send it to YEC centers around the country.
