I was just wondering how many applicants to date have professed to have an ability related to dowsing?

You will find 122 applications from 22nd September 2004 until today. I did not count the dowsing claims, if I had to guess: at least two dozen.

Take the time and browse the application thread. You will find lots of entertaining threads as well as insights into applicants behaviour. Enjoy. :)
 
Dowsing holds a special place for me as the first paranormal claim I've scientifically tested. It's stunningly easy to test too - you'd think applicants would try constructing a scientific test themselves first wouldn't you: saves embarrassment later.

Any such count wouldn't include the [large?] number of people Randi has personally met and offered quick tests to, and act he sometimes alludes to in his weekly updates.
