Down at the end of today's commentary, he's got a link to some shadow puppets. http://www.randi.org/media/Puppet.wmv

When I click on the link, all I get is pages and pages of gibberish.

Etc. So...ummm?

You should be getting a wmv of a cleverly-done shadow puppet with music. I'm not a gifted pc person so I can't really help you. Maybe one of the Mods can?

Both the link you mention and your link work fine for me.
1. Download the link. Save it to your desktop.
2. Tell your computer that *.wmv files are movies. Windows Media Player or similar will be good.
3. Click on the downloaded file. Windows Media Player should start up and play the movie. Any problems post again.

Just right-click the link and click "save link as" or "save target as" (Depending on the wording in your Browser)

And after downloading it, Windows should be able to open the file with a "double-click".

Oh, okay, I didn't realize I had to download it first. I'm used to Youtube links, where generally you just click on it and it starts to play. Thanks. :)

Downloading shouldn't be necessary. My Windows Media Player had no problem displaying the video directly from the SWIFT page.

That's odd ... I just clicked on the link near the end of this week's SWIFT, and it took me directly to the YouTube page for the video.

(And a most impressive video it was, too!)
