Its really simple, I think if Bush did the Stern show and reiterated the "if you dont like it, change the channel" doctrine I think he could take control of the race right here at the outset.

Of course, Bush has views on marriage (that are wrong) that he can be called to task for. However, Stern is one of those guys that if you believe different it is okay as long as you are willing too be called to task on it.

I think Kerry could make a decent president. He was definitely my second pick after Lieberman.

Kerry's gift is that he looks very "presidential". I think he isn't exploiting that gift when he is out there doing negative campaigning. Instead, he just looks like a stuff shill.

Think about this. If Bush keeps his mouth shut, Kerry will have to respond by keeping his mouth shut even more. Each side will escalate this new campaign tactic of STFU. Each month until November, more and more vicious STFU from the Dems and the Reps.
