This is good stuff - it was just on TV here in the UK.

If not in the UK, I'm sure someone will soon Youtube it.
Basically it's a parody of Casualty or ER involving homoeopathy and other alt med to try and treat a car accident victim. Afterwards, the "doctors" console themselves with a pint of homoeopathic beer. :)

There's also a great little sketch along the lines of atheist pareidolia - very "The Onion".

"....but when someone comes in wit ha vague sense of unease or a touch of the nerves or even just more money then sense.... you'll be there for them bottle of basically just water in one hand and a huge invoice in the other...."

:D

I loved it when he said "sometimes a statistically negligent quantity of arsenic is just not enough" :D

I enjoyed the sketch later on in the program, where an atheist cuts open a watermelon to find the words "There is no God" spelled out in pips.

ETA - as Big Les already mentioned.

That was brilliant! I should watch that show regularly.

BBC comedy programmes have a pop at homoeopathy and other SCAM quite often. Never fails to amuse.

Rolfe.

Also the Good Samaritan and the Crystal Skulls on Peepshow.

Mitchell and Webb do Homeopathy

Thought you guys might like this. Did a search but couldn't see it already posted.

Is comedian the most atheistic and sceptical profession? Stephen Fry, Jimmy Carr and now this.

The granddaddy of all these is Dave Allen, and I can never resist an opportunity for posting a clip of his act:

Brilliant - many a happy hour of wasted youth spent watching the Dave Allen show. I even went to see him live, my parents were shocked at his "blue" language!

Cheers,

Yuri

They recently did the "image of jesus on a slice of toast", but from a atheist view. Theres was " there is no god" clearly written inside a watermelon in black capital letters. The Vicar interviewed in the sketch said they were seeing things, etc.
Very funny.
