I am surprised I have seen no thread on the latest instalment of the Hockey Stick saga. McIntyre & McKitrick published an update on September 13, detailing their commincations with Nature, which gives some fascinating background into events which led to the Corrigendum written by Mann and published in July.

The deeper this goes the potentially more embarrassing this could become for Nature. It could be worse than either the scandal of the Wakefield MMR paper or Benveniste's homeopathy paper.
