Baby with tail 'reincarnation of Hindu god'
Crowds are flocking to Indian temples to see a Muslim baby with a 'tail' who is believed to be the reincarnation of a Hindu god.

The 11-month-old boy has been named Balaji or Bajrangbali, another name for monkey-faced Lord Hanuman.

He is reported to have a 4in 'tail' caused by genetic mutations during the development of the foetus.

Iqbal Qureshi, the child's maternal grandfather, is taking Balaji from temple to temple where people offer money to see the boy.
I for one welcome our new monkey-god overlord.

Edited to add: Oops, meant for this to be in the Religion forum. My bad.

If I remember correctly it isn't a tail beacuse it lacks a bone structure.

OMG, that is a creepy-looking thing! And the tail is gross too...

So I ask you... does it constitute child abuse what the grandpa is doing? Sounds like gross freakshow exploitation to me.

no, it's true. I heard that too. Snopes.com verified it a LONG time ago.
I read about Limbaugh's polynoidal cyst (sp?) in Franken's book. However Franken didn't get the (rich!) implication -- he mentioned the cyst incidentally without mention that Limbaugh was born with a tail (that was snipped off by the doctor). I found Franken's public email address and conveyed this info to him, and remain dissappointed by lack of reply.
