In breaking news, the American Secretary of State visited Pakistan today, which either induced or is irrelevant to a bomb going off in Pakistan that killed over ninety people.
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton visited the country and pledged American support for its campaign against Islamist militants.

The bomb seems an almost perfectly coincident underscoring of US/Pakistani common aims and aspirations.

Full disclosure: I could not resist the horrid pun, given that as a young lady in college, Madame Secretary was quite attractive.

I'd have called her two days later but I wouldn't exactly call her "quite attractive". You can make just about anyone look awesome with the right camera angles.

I concur on that. I also note that she, Saffy from Ab Fab, and Susan Smith, the woman who drowned her kids in her car, then said a black man stole the car with the kids in it, are all a separated-at-birth, well, separated-at-age-20-ish anyway.

I wonder how often the two of them are in the same photo? That there is much beauty, for sure.

As to the innocent rendered into splintered bones and rent flesh on the occasion of Madame Secretary's visit, I hope they didn't feel any pain as they shed their mortal coils.

It's The Onion, they're equal-opportunity mockers of politicians. Whoever's in power tends to get more of the stick outside of elections, so right now it's running a fair number of Obama, Biden and Clinton jokes. When GWB was in power they bashed him relentlessly too.
 
Hillary's not so bad looking, but it would nice to see her squeeze into a dress once in a while. I'm all for women wearing the trousers, but a little variety is nice. What I could never get my head round was those men who thought Margaret Thatcher was attractive.
