OK, I put my thread in TV where I thought it belonged, but I suppose it is better repeated here.

Here's an email I sent (hopefully to the right place), after catching only the final few minutes of John Edward's appearance on Glenn Beck tonight. Obviously there was no skepticism involved because Beck helped him out right to the end of the show.

I only found your show a few weeks ago, and have been pleased at your frankness in "telling it like it is". However, your featuring John Edward in tonight's show is reprehensible. This guy is a money-sucking leech, who makes up stuff ostensibly to make people feel good. I had hoped you would be more of an advocate of critical thinking and realize and expose that John Edward is nothing but an experienced cold reader who preys on the grieving and vulnerable.

That's what I was thinkng, RS. I know that I have to astudiously avoid turning on his show every weeknight. I keep hoping that if I ignore teh douche, he'll go away. I guess there's enough ign'ant people out there willing to eat his tripe to keep him on the air. And yet, somehow the WEird Al Show didn't last long...the humainty, I tells ya.
