It is now official they have in fact discovered those WMDs and they appeared in the most unlikely of places. In this instance it is the dreaded Pediculosis Capitis or common head louse. This must of been the dreaded new genetically engineered strain

.
Lucky they deloused him after that medical examination before the troops spread them in the return home to the US to every elementary school primary and day care center in the US. I did notice the was a reason now for those dreadful marine haircuts.

Well I can’t speak as to what the administration is currently doing; however, I do know that in 1991 Iraq DID have Chemical Weapons. (I, along with others saw and tested them to find out) However, we were not allowed to (confiscate or destroy) them because we were not the professionals “trained” in chemical bomb disposal. The UN Professionals were supposed to take care of them. (Part of the whole surrender thing) When the UN showed up there were no weapons and up to this date (Weather they are in a storage building or a chemical land fill) no one has been able to find them. I fear that these weapons might have found there way into another country, and thus maybe into the hands of some other terrorist. I hope not.

Yes, we know he used to have them. In fact, in 1988, when he used them against the Kurds, the USA (under Reagan at the time) refused to join most of the rest of the world in condemning him. Some evidence seems to suggest that he got some of them from the US.

But that was some time ago. The evidence we have seen so far seems to indicate he didn't have them when we started the war. If our saber rattling cause him to give them to terrorists, then that makes the US's decision to invade an even worse decision.

Nothing has convinced me that this invasion has had any effect in reducing terrorism or controlling WMDs. In fact, it seems just the opposite.

I remember being quite upset by the incident. The story I have gotten so far is that the Dow Chemical Co. had the US' blessing to sell the raw materials used in pesticides to Iraq. These can also be used to produce chemical weapons and Reagan knew this. However, what bothers me now is that whenever something is found in Iraq that could possibly have any peaceful uses (like pesticides) the media is pretty quick to point out that the item also has peace time uses.

Not our problem. Saddam never accounted for all of the items he was required to by the treaty he signed with us to save his hide during the Gulf War I.

I suppose you think Iran would have been just as eager to sign a nuclear non-proliferation treaty without us right next door? At least Saddam will no longer be able to pay $25,000 in blood money to families of Palestinian suicide bombers.
