Does Randi or anyone else here have discussed about Hercolubus?

"“Hercolubus or Red Planet” is a warning to Humanity about the proximity to Earth of the Planet Hercolubus. This is an enormous planet whose great gravitating power will provoke in our planet multiple earthquakes, tidal waves, volcanic eruptions, etc., that will be increasing in intensity until provoking the total destruction of this Humanity.

In this book, V.M. Rabolú describes the catastrophic events that will happen soon to all of us, some of which we are already witnessing, and the necessary formula to escape from them.

Along with the purpose and sense of this book, the non-profit Ediciones Humanidad (Honduras) is established; the sole activity being the diffusion of the book “Hercolubus or Red Planet” in the easiest and most accessible possible way for everyone."

Thanks.

Oh jeez! Not another rogue planet about to destroy the earth! I just got the yard cleaned up after the Planet X pass.

Why do Hercolubus, Planet X, Nemesis and all these damned asteroids and comets keep picking on earth? Why can't they go and pick on Venus or Mars or one of the others for a change? I don't know about the rest of humanity, but I'm getting just a little bit tired of being destroyed.

Hey! Bad Astronomer! Where are you when we need you?

Perhaps the author of Hercolubus read one too many short stories from the Cthulhu mythos?
It was red as rust, featureless except for bulbous protrusions like hills… Except that of course they weren’t hills if he could see them at this distance; they must be immense. It seemed to hang ponderously, communicating a thunderous sense of imminence, of power… Then it moved… The surface of a planet doesn’t move… the surface of a planet doesn’t crack, it doesn’t roll back like that, it doesn’t peel back for thousands of miles so you can see what’s underneath, pale and glistening.
– Ramsey Campbell, The Tugging (1976)

Ah Honduras... The Mayan people once existed over there
They claim that this approaching planet is foresighted in their (mayan) cosmical ancient calendar for the exact moment science is predicting its aproximation to us now.

Hmmm....:con2:

excerpt from the book:

“Nuclear energy contaminated the whole ocean and the animals living there. The sea inhales and exhales because it is a living body. When exhaling, it contaminates the oxygen that we breathe and all the vegetation. Changes in the human organism will occur and monstrous children will be born caused by this over-all contamination, alarming the whole world.”

:(

LOL

Well, crap. Crappity crap crap crap. When is this thing coming? There's no way I want the world to end until I've used up some of my accrued vacation time.

Giant Bees can't fly in space.

Engineers in America have proved it.

Do they have areodynamics on Mars?

As long as the bees have rocket-like proppelers attached to them, which they abandom once they reach our orbit. Tell me, this bee history has even been taken seriously by some scientist??

Well, of course giant bees fly in space -- they're three dimensional, after all. They won't do well in vacuum, though.

Mars does have an atmosphere, but I think there they call the science of flight Aresdynamics.
