I am trying to scan a document (it's a plot for lighting) and I need to more around the objects. I scanned the document and editted (using paintbrush) the file the way I wanted, but I noticed when I move thed objects and deleted images it changed the white color to a true white. When I scanned the document it did not save the image's white as white, instead it is a off white color. How to I make all the white and off white, one uniform white color?

I tried inverting the color, and tried the black and white feature. Both did not work, they changed the plot completely distorting the features.

Thanks.

When you move a block in Paint, the area uncovered will be the background colour you've set up, and it defaults to pure white (RGB 255,255,255). What you need to do is select the Colour Picker Tool (looks like an eyedropper) from the toolbar, then right-click an area of your image that has the background colour you're after. However, for a scanned document I very much doubt the entire background as scanned will be a uniform colour.

It didn't work, I gave into "zooming and painting." Thanks anyway.

When you zoomed in, where all the background pixels the same colour or different colours? If different, then yes, you need to move up to a more advanced app for your image editing.
