Today, March 8, is International Women's Day. In honor of this year's theme of "A promise is a promise: Time for action to end violence against women", here is a tiny, tiny handful of the many groups that working towards this goal and towards achieving equality for women worldwide, not just today, but every day of the year (these are the groups I devote my own efforts to):

Yay. Even after minoraty groups have gained their rights it is important to never stop appreciating those rights and to work to prevent their decay. If you have the right to vote, vote! If you have the right to assemble in a public place, take advantage of that! Happy International Women's Day!
