Link to picture and story...first one didn't work
That 2 Iraqi election workers were murdered in a daylight ambush on Baghdad's Haifa Street is not in itself unusual. Haifa street in Baghdad is infamous locally as home turf to some particularly nasty Saddam loyalists. That some 30 of them felt secure enough to stop traffic in broad daylight and murder the election officials while being photographed going about this grisly business unmasked is terribly troubling.

Obviously they wished to terrorize those Iraqi citizens unlucky enough to have been present. 30 men firing weapons and tossing hand grenades would be enough to terrorize the most hardened commando....how is it then that an AP photographer was able to stand calmly nearby and shoot a series of clear photographs?

Is the AP now "embedded" with the terrorists who are murdering election workers? If this was one incident that an AP photo journalist just happened to be in the right place at the right time, wouldn't he have run for his life like everyone else did? 30 guys firing weapons and throwing grenades...would you stand up straight and shoot such perfect pictures???

Now remember back to the infamous murders of those American security contractors in Fallujah....yep, all pictures courtesy of the AP.

Follow the link...(my attempt to post the pic failed for some reason.)...look at it and try and imagine how someone not under the protection of the terrorists could have taken it.

More evidence AP is working with the enemy?:

"A group called the Islamic Movement of Iraqi Mujahideen announced that it had killed an Italian hostage called Salvatore Santoro," the Qatar-based broadcaster said, showing footage of Santoro with a blindfold and a gun pointed at his head.

The group read a statement in the tape accusing Santoro of working for the United States, Al Jazeera said. Images of his passport showed an Iranian tourist visa.

The channel said it obtained the videotape from the Associated Press.

Gee,...I wonder how they keep scooping everyone else???

Gosh, I don't know how a war photographer keeps calm and steady taking photos when sh!t goes down... No, wait... Here's a rad conspiracy-theory for you... It's their job!!!

Now, I'll wait until you take your nitro pills and calm down a little before continuing.

Ready?

Do you ever question how camera people can keep a steady shot when soldiers are under fire by ambush, explosions going off (like when that soldier was blown up in Fahrenheit 911... That shot wasn't staged, y'know) or being shot at by besieged snipers? If not, why do you question it now?

Look at the picture, see how the far background is in sharp focus as well as the subject? This is because a really long telephoto lens was being used, thus the depth of field seen in the photo. The photographer could have been 100-200 yards away from the killings and gone unnoticed by the gunmen.

- Obviously Rik believes we need more enemies, and the Associated Press must be one because they... taped something bad happening in Iraq.

- The simple solution: add the AP to the axis of evil list. Arm FOX news, send them forward.
