The dog ate my homework excuse.

So, they have this most dangerous Al Qeda operative...so dangerous that his rights as a citizen, if not outright violated (still to be determined) are certainly pushed right up to the edge of what is Constitutionally permitted.

So, they interview him and video tape the interview...smart if you are going to take him to trial for, essentially treason, and you lose the tape!

Wow.

OOPS!

It certainly doesn't lend any credibility to the

"classified document summarizing what took place during the session," does it? You'd think the two would have been kept together, unless of course, the DVD content didn't confirm what was in the written document.

The government has managed this case such that:

1 - The outcome will be questionable, no matter what it is.
2 - Justice will not be served.
3 - America looks stupid and hypocritical to the rest of the world.

Sometimes, you got to burn the village to save it.

Ahh, to think of the days when the treatment of Wen Ho Lee was the government's most embarrassing disgrace.
