Remember the 94 congress and them trying to reduce program budget increases from 7-6 percent growth to 3-4?
Remember the shrill emotional response that resonated with the public and convinced the public they were actually cutting programs?
There is a snowball's chance in hell of someone as libertarian as Ron Paul getting elected. He won't cut growth rates, he wants to cut whole programs. It is fantasy land.
