Beck recently urged his fans not to commit terrorist violence. Because it's not nice to kill people? No, because it might bring down government oppression. :eye-poppi

BECK: If anyone thinks that it would be a good idea to turn violent, think again. It would destroy the Republic. They have awakened a sleeping giant. But just one lunatic like Timothy McVeigh could ruin everything that everyone has worked so hard for. Because these people in Washington won’t pass up the use of an emergency.

Coincindedly or not, one of Beck's followers, armed with an assault rifle and shotgun, was recently arrested for casing and photographing a National Guard Base apparently looking for evidence of FEMA concentration camps. Now released by the police, the woman says it was all a "misunderstanding."

Didn't Beck really mean "Don't be a patsy for a shadow-government false-flag attack"??

I believe the right wing will attack again. Glenn Beck is probably right on this...

Is it just me or is he just a better groomed, healthier looking, Alex Jones?

He said something along the lines of "We are entering possibly the worst (or most disastarous) of all times for this country"

Really? Of all time?

I guess he realized that he's playing with fire and fueling it every time he's on the air - in combination with his conscience or a memo from "above".

Hehe, Beck is a Nut..

Listen one hour on Alex Jones radio Show... I garantee it will come. There has been some shooting connected to his radio show and theories. The question is when some army veteran is going to make a bomb.. I give it 4 years after the end of the Irak war.

There is a growing anti government in america. Veterans tends often to be anti government, often with good reason. We see this with Timothy Mcveigh. I think we have to be aware of veterans from Irak comming home, mad at the goverment and starting listening to Alex Jones. Everybody can in theory make a bomb, but not everybody have the training like a soldier.

I am ex US Army, and you, frankly, do not know what the hell you are talking about.
Yes, a few ex military people are nutcases, but to suggest that they are more prone to go bonkers then any other group I take as an insult.
And making homemade bombs is NOT a part of US Army training, except for the EOD people, and the requirements vis a vis intelligence and emotional stablity to get into that branch are so high that I really doubt many potential McVeighs are among them.

Hmmmm... maybe the Civil War wasn't so bad after all.

Alex Jones? And what? There few crimes commited by CTers, but so far not much linking/relating crimes to their theories.

I doubt there would be many veterans from "hot" conflicts, which would go truly bonkers. Don't forget how exhaustive such deployments are.Read some blogs written by soldiers. (If interested I can put down some links)

Most certainly scandinavian i'd say.

Hm.based upon what? His distrust of right? (I don't think so,based upon other posts...)

My guess too. Why do you figure? Spelling of "kongen" does point to Danish or Norwegian.

His leftist Obama-love i recognize from Norway. I don't have anything against him, it's just irritating to hear about how much everyone loves the guy when they don't know the first thing about him, and he has not done anything substantial yet.

(I'll stop talking of things I don't know much about now..)

I find it disconcerting that your topic here, and the one in another thread, continue to be treated as passe, when, in fact, you bring a very, very real concern to the table.

I would like to know what people think Alex Jones (in particular) brings to the proverbial table that is good. Tell me. What good does he do? Is he making the world a better place? Is he trying?

If you are going to anty up and proclaim the good he does is in providing conversation for discussions like these, I humbly ask that you rethink that reply. In fact, these conversations are not a product of what he does, of the lies and distortions he promotes. They are a product of our abilty to recognize those lies and distortions, a by-product of his garbage.

I for one only see bad from his show. He spins a web of lies and fear that trap people inside, using Ron Paul, Stephen Jones, Gage, et.al as the silk.

He rages on and on, blathering about oppression and tyranny. His followers likely do not even fully understand these words...but I know they understand there anger.

This is not oil and water folk, his lies and his audience are a combustible, volatile mixture. It just takes one nut ball, I.E Richard Poplawski, to ruin our families weekend, and our lives, no?

Most of the imps that listen to AJ have a degree from the University of YouTube, and use the internet as a way of venting. God help us all if/when they utilize there anger, a rage fueled by AJ and fed by our shunning of there nonsense, as a catalyst, and the internet as a conduit, to stage a group massacre in the name of "Da Twoof".

Scoof if you will. I, for one, will remain not in fear, but vigilant, of just such an occurrence. Every news story I come across that shows a lunatic murdering innocents, I generally think "Da Twoofers". I am right more than I am comfortable with.

Take a step back and read some of the comments, seething with anger, they make.

Take a step back and read some of the comments, seething with anger, George Sodini made. Or Richard Poplawski. Or The Holocoust killer (forgot name, do not care to look into it)..on and on and on.

The writing is literally on the wall, but many here choose to ignore it, or not read it, or scoff at it.

Alex Jones needs to be exposed for the fraud he is, and his lies held up to scrutiny. With freedom comes responsibilty. He is not responsible in his reporting of fear and lies to make a dollar. This is the only way we can potentially curtail an event such as what has already occurred from repeating itself.

Thank you for your respond! I think you just have to see the facts. We know that taking part in a war can harm your mental state. Thats a fact! Of course not all veterans will end up like nutcases, BUT this group has a lot more cases like this than a regular Wallmarts employer! We see this in veterans form Norway also..

My point is, we know that after going to war, some end up blaming there own goverment. Thats a fact, look at Mcveig and Korey Rowe! They come home, depressed and need someone to blame. You turn on the Alex Jones show, and you start listening. What can happen?

The veteran is highly skilled. Not in making a bomb, everybody can do that! I think everybody understands that the training to be a soldier makes it more likely to be successful in doing a attack to america. That being shooting Obama with a sniper or making a bomb and not let anybody figering it out..

If it doesent help being educated in warfare, then i wonder what kind of training you american give your soldiers. The norwegian army has a extremely good education to the soldiers we use in warfare. But i dont know what you americans do when you send hundred of thousands out in to war. Maybe less training makes it more likely to snap?
