Just said it on his radio program (9 o'clock hour in the midwest).

Can we say "irresponsible"?

In his racist dreams.
Glenn Beck said:
I don't have a lot of African-American friends, and I think part of it is because I'm afraid that I would be in an open conversation, and I would say something that somebody would take wrong, and then it would be a nightmare.

"I firmly believe that race riots are on the way," he said. "They are being encouraged...[the Obama administration] will take this country down. If it looks like they are losing, the uber left, they will take it down. If I can't have it, no one will."

It's another one of Beck's predictions that is constructed in a way that his supporters will be in awe of his insight, yet he can safely make since Obama has little chance of losing. Most of his end-of-the-word and crash-and-burn predictions are phrased like this: it will happen it will happen it will happen (if we don't do X (which we will most likely do), or in some indeterminate timeframe).

Coming from a country that will destroy one of its own cities over a hockey game, I don't think its necessarily crazy to believe that if Obama isn't re-elected that someones gonna throw a brick through a few windows somewhere.

"Race war" is a tad over the top though.

So if Mr. Beck wants to avoid the race war, he should do everything in his power to insure that Barack Obama is re-elected.

What Mr. Beck wants is to drive traffic to keep coming back to his show/website to patronize his advertisers and buy his merchandise. He is doing everything in his power to convince his audience that they can't afford to not hear what he has to say tomorrow, next week, and over the next year.

Given his track record, if Glenn Beck predicted the sun will rise tomorrow, I'd go out and buy extra light bulbs just in case.
