An interesting piece from CNN.

Article

Winkowski says it wasn't until age 7 that she realized no one else could see what she did. A lot of people didn't believe her, but her grandmother did and took her to funerals to talk to the recently departed.

"Mom didn't have a clue," she said.

Neither did her husband, Ted.

She told him she was seeing "other" people only after they exchanged vows.

"At first, I thought she could wiggle her nose like Samantha on 'Bewitched,"' he said. "I wouldn't be selling cars if that were the case."

Thirty-seven years later, he takes her ghostbusting for granted.

"I never had a reason to doubt her," he said.

Now we have a real ghost buster.

I like this better.

Spirits who refuse to cross over are the ones that keep Winkowski busy. She charges $100 or more to guide them to the white light.

So if your relatives don't pay you could be stuck here on earth and never get into heaven!

Maybe if your relative is a jerk then he doesn't want to "cross over" because they know they are going to hell?

An alternative view is that here we have a woman who specializes in taking advantage of people's grief during a short interval when they are emotionally vulnerable.

Not only that, she profits from the idea that recently deceased are somehow unhappy and 'sticking around', adding guilt to the remorse.

The silly bit about men counting cars and women smelling flowers is telling.

Can we get a sultry pose posted of Hewitt leaning against a tombstone? That would rock.

(merphie! syncronicity!!! all must be true)

I agree. 100%

I can see the resemblance. There'll probably be a romantic plotline involving a ghost played by Tom Hanks.

I could never have predicted any scenrio by which the woman on the right would at some point be played by Jennifer Love Hewitt.
