Getting bored with 9-11 Truth, part Deux

Yup. Its starting to bore me again. Its just a damn circle jerk. Every few months, they think something big has happened or been discovered. And every few months, we debunk them within minutes.

How much longer will this continue?

Maybe after, say, the tenth anniversary of 9-11, we should just drop this sub-forum.

Why do you think I have stopped posting as much here? There is nothing new, everytime I drop in I feel like I'm back in 2003 arguing Freefall, thermite, and No planes. These people haven't learned a jot in 7 years!

You don't get it Parky - The decent citizens of the world are conducting a murder
and treason conspiracy investigation and some are using the JREF forum to that end.
The truths of 9-11 are still hidden and much work remains to be done.
The stupid or cowardly always always shirk from their duties and the 911 created world crisis is no exception- Truth is not a dirty word.

and treason conspiracy investigation and some are using the JREF forum to that end.
The truths of 9-11 are still hidden and much work remains to be done.

And yet. 9 years later they have no evidence whatsoever for an inside job conspiracy. You know fonebone. I have an odd neighbor who has no trespassing signs all over his property, puts out what seems like far to much garbage for a single individual. Keeps a padlock on his driveway gates. It up at 3 am doing yard work. Yet despite these peculiarities I cannot accuse him of cutting up bodies in his basement and putting them out to the curb on Wednesday nights. You know why fonebone?. I HAVE NO EFFIN EVIDENCE!!

Huh. I've wondered that myself. It's not like we've had a genuinely, no-doubt new truther here since Heiwa.

And this is what disappoints me about these guys: There's nothing new. Over in the parent CT subforum, some guy launched a JFK fantasy I've never heard of before: That the limo driver shot Kennedy.



I haven't seen imagination of that magnitude from the 9/11 truthers at all. I'm actually disappointed about that. No one since Dr. Deagle of the "Attack Baboons" has been that nutty (and the attack baboons weren't a 9/11 theory, they were just a paranoia of his). It's actually kind of boring in here.

Hate to spoil it for you, but "did the Limo Driver do it" idiot theories go back for decades. A quick Google will show kook websites as old as 1996 referring to this as an "old idea."

Here is one such example; their page on Greer (warning, graphic video) echoes the above. But also note how similar to no-claimer Truther lore their "mission statement" is.

It's all the same people -- deeply paranoid, without evidence, but working hard to justify their beliefs any way they can.

ETA: Let me just walk through that "mission statement," since it's so striking:

We believe these basic facts in the assassination of President Kennedy and the wounding of Governor John Connally:

• there was more than one shooter
• there has not been a trueor [sic] complete investigation of this crime by our government
• the intelligence agencies did not give those investigatory bodies the information they should have
• the assassination case is still open and therefore, research should be ongoing.

Now I'll tweak the text a little bit. Tell me this doesn't sound like every single TruthBot you've ever encountered in your life:

We believe these basic facts in the destruction of the World Trade Center and Building Seven / Pentagon:

• there was more than aircraft and jet fuel at work
• there has not been a true or complete investigation of this crime by our government
• the intelligence agencies did not give those investigatory bodies the information they should have
• the murder case is still open and therefore, research should be ongoing.

The truth is, Fonebone, outside of a name on the Internet, you don't exist.

You don't take "the truth" to the media
You don't take "the truth" to the police
You don't take "the truth" to the lawyers
You don't take "the truth" to professional engineering organizations
You don't take "the truth" to the engineering schools
You don't take "the truth" to insurance fraud agencies
You don't take "the truth" to anyone that can do something with it

All you do is post on Internet forums, and you call others stupid and cowardly.

Yeah, back in the day there was a new crazy idea every month or so. I think they reached a peak with the beams from outer space and every subsequent theory has failed to deliver such great entertainment. I mean, I don't expect anything as good as Dr. Woods but some new material would be nice.
Come on people, truthers and debunkers alike, we could all really use a new Judy Woods to talk about for awhile

why don't you start a thread about how some people who are culturally abused as children into believing they are jews used british passports to get into Dubai and murder someone who was culturally abused as a child to believe he was a muslim.
You're bored with 9/11? i find it hard to believe since you seem to have more to say on the subject than alex jones and david icke put together. Just a suggesting, just trying to make your day go with a swing, in no way is my suggesting meant in any way to be offensive. I know how just the mention of the word jew can bring on accusations of anti-Semitism
