George Galloway on Payroll?

George Galloway has been accused of being bought by an unspecified payroll, by people such as David Frum, creator of "Axis of Evil" phrase:

However, Frum does not discuss details of such payroll here.

A quick google search on this brought up Saddam's payroll, but it seems that wasn't very well substantiated and that Galloway even received 150,000 pounds for libel from the Daily Telegraph for its apparent inability to back its accusations.

There are some documents and some testimony against Galloway from the former Iraqi oil minister and the like, but these are said to be fraud. If the US senate does have real evidence against Galloway, why is this not pursued to conclusion (or has it been pursued to conclusion in criminal court)? Can't and shouldn't the US or some entity chase down the supposed payments to Galloway more carefully to find out the truth of this criminal allegation?

Is there evidence he is under any other payroll?

He is often called an opportunist, but these apparently false libels against him undermine these calls.

Can someone defend these payroll charges with serious evidence? I would like to get a more complete picture on this, if there is one.

They have no proof to link Galloway. There is a lot of murkiness about the charity he setup and money his wife recieved however that is backed up by investigations.

Well, sure, but why? You might well be right. I'm not familiar with this. But I'm after some details.

There were many pieces about the fake docs I remember.

The Iraqi was one guy. Hardly corroborated evidence on which to hang Galloway.

I would love to see him linked to the money but they had no hard evidence. He knew this when he asked for the senate appearance. The US senate fell for it big time. I believe there is hard evidence from some investigations linking payments to his wife trough their Miriam charity though.
