Hi. My name is Gail. I am a born again christian.

These are some of the things that I do while in our session:

1- I may sit and stare at you or I may not even look at you, so please do not let that bother you.

2- I may or may not give you names of people. Describe in complete description of people, places or things, or give you a color of a vehicle, if your first impression is that you know who or what I am talking about, PLEASE JUST SAY "YES", if you do not know what I am talking about, PLEASE JUST SAY "NO".

PLEASE DO NOT GIVE ME NO INFORMATION. NO OFFENSE TO YOU BUT I WILL TELL YOU TO SHUT UP. THE LEAST OF INFORMATION YOU GIVE ME THE BETTER I LIKE IT.

3- I will not discuss death so do not waste your time asking me any questions about someone who is going to die. But, I may describe in detail, color of hair, personality, or a situation of someone who has passed away. If you want to tell me that they are passed away, fine, but I will not tell YOU.

4- You may take notes if you like but there is no taping. And you may NOT write on this paper that you are now reading.

5- Bring everything with you that have brought except your coat if wearing one.

You can ask questions after I am through talking. So please have your questions written down so that you do not forget what was that you were going to ask. Need paper to write your questions down while you are waiting? Please ask. It is to late to write your questions down if I am ready to talk to you now.

Please also be advised that ALL tests are videotaped, so, if you insist upon refusing to allow the test to be taped, you will NOT be tested. There can be NO EXCEPTIONS to the Challenge rules.

Dear Sir, I am claiming to possess the psychic ability to see into the lives of complete strangers. The test may be videotaped but please no bright lights to hinder test. I sent in detail how i would llike to denoonstrate the test. I also suggested in great detail under what conditions and length of time which I believe that I will need. I believe that the accuracy degree is high. I can not say that I "hit" on an attempt, but I will say, as I already wrote you, is that I will tell you past pressent and future with GREAT ACCURACY. I would like at least one hour if not more.
I also would like to know how you propose to do the testing. Thank you for your time.

Dear Ms. Hagan,

Define "GREAT ACCURACY", please. For example, if you have the opportunity to make 20 statements about the person whose life you are proposing to "see into", how many of those attempts will be "hits"?

Also, please be advised that test results cannot be subject to interpretation, so your "hits" must be VERY accurate.

Also be advised that no "predictions" will be included in the test (should we agree to a test protocol and proceed to the preliminary testing stage of the Challenge), as there can be no way to know if they are accurate or not. Hence, only statements regarding the subject's PAST & PRESENT will be acceptable. So, once again, please define "GREAT ACCURACY".

It is YOU who must tell US how you propose to demonstrate your "powers". This is how the process of devising an acceptable test begins.
 
JREF's test protocol suggestions

Thank you sir, I am very convinced that I have a power and I can prove it, and I am convinced that I am prepared to do so. The only way that I know how to do a test is by the way that I had sent to you stating the table and 2 chairs. I would be grateful if you have any suggestions on another test. Reviewing your claim letter, it really states only what you MAY OR MAY NOT be able to do. This is a problem.

For example....

1- Can you tell us the color of their CAR?
2- Can you tell us how many children they have (if any), and what sex?
3- Can you tell us precisely where they were born?
4- Can you tell us if they have ever had an operation?
5- Can you tell us if they have ever been abroad, and if so, WHERE (exactly)?
6- Can you tell us if they have ever been lost in the woods?
7- Can you tell us if they have ever been hospitalized, and WHY?
8- Can you tell us how many brothers and sisters they have (if any)?
9- Can you tell us if they are religious, and if so, what religion/denomination?
10- Can you tell us what they ate for dinner last night?
11- Can you tell us what their plans for this evening are?
12- Can you tell us when they were last caught in the rain?
13- Can you tell us what their favorite sport is?
14- Can you tell us what their favorite TV show is?
15- Can you tell us what their favorite film of 2004 is?
16- Can you tell us what their favorite color is?
17- Can you tell us who their favorite singer is?
18- Can you tell us who their favorite actor is?
19- Can you tell us who their favorite actress is?
20- Can you tell us who their favorite comedian is?
21- Can you tell us their mother's and father's first names?

You must tell us what you CAN do, Gail. Knowing what you MAY OR MAY NOT do does not help us to assist you in devising an acceptable test that would conclusively verify your claim.

Be advised that you may receive NO FEEDBACK from the person you are "reading". They may sit in front of you, but they will not be allowed to speak, gesture, or communicate with you in any way whatsoever. Your "readings" will be noted by an observer, and then, AFTER the "reading", the subject will be asked point-by-point if your statements were accurate. You must be very precise in order to score a "hit". We would propose that you have three subjects to read, and make twenty statements during the course of the reading, which would last no longer than one hour. We would, of course, not bring bright lights in for videotaping, and we would do our best to make you comfortable, without jeopardizing the integrity of the test.

Out of twenty attempts, how many "hits" do you propose will constitute a successful demonstration of you claim?

More vagueness and misdirection...

hello, I can tell them about what spiritual /deceased person(s) around them. No feedback is a good idea, because I dont like no one to talk anyways. I have never let anyone tell me information during or after a reading to tell me if I did or did not tell them such questions that you just asked. I thank you for having patience with me, allowing me to figure out what information that I need to be exact on.. My visions are a continuous video that I tell the individual the best I know what it means. Their past situations, are those that they hang onto that are stopping them from enjoying life today. I can tell them a color of a car, that will be in danger or have a concern to them--to be cautious. I can tell them they have child(ren) but not necessarily their sex--I can tell them the child 's hangups that is causing them to be to aggressive, to feminime or to manly, angry, etc. I tell them age of child by their emotional growth not their actual age--if someone is very depressed--I may get two ages--ex--if they are 56--I may get a 26 and a 92--meaning they act below their age- and act like an old person. I am sorry if this is to much information. I am tryiing very hard to be exact with you. I do answer exact questions with no information added from the individual I am talking to--I answer them with my added information to explain to them what it is that is going on with their question. Telling us your fantasies and interpretations acheives nothing toward our mutual quest to determine an acceptable test protocol.

You seem to be unable to understand the very nature of the JREF Challenge. You must tell us FACTS. VERIFIABLE FACTS.

Your beliefs in the hereafter, or about "what spiritual/deceased persons" are in the room, will NOT qualify you for the Million Dollar prize. Nor will it warrant the testing of your claim.

Your "advice" regarding personal problems are also not acceptable. We ask you to tell us the age of their children, and you respond by saying that you can tell us their "emotional age", and about their "hang-ups". This is all unacceptable.

You say that you are trying very hard to be exact, but you are being completely vague and purposefully misleading. We will NOT accept your claim for testing unless you tell us what you CAN do, Gail. If you cannot provide us with that data, we will have no choice but to reject your claim.

Lying or Trickery? It seems to me that you are preparing to blame the "subject" whom you are reading, if you fail to pass the test. You wouldn't be the first applicant to offer such an excuse, Gail.

It also seems to me that the more you evade my direct questions, the less likely it is that you will agree to an acceptable test protocol. If you continue to be unable to understand the Challenge rules, there will be nothing further we can do to help you.

Once again, Gail, the ONLY acceptable test of your claim will reside in your ability to present FACTS. Interpretation of a person's "problems" (such a potential future car accidents, the behavior patterns of their children, and determinations made by you of a subject's passive-aggressive nature) is NOT acceptable. FACTS, Gail. Only FACTS will suffice.

So far, you have only told us what you MIGHT do, and we suspect that what you so strongly believe to be psychic phenomenon, is merely an old parlour trick magicians and conjurers refer to as "cold reading". I know that you will respond to this by stating that what you do is "not a trick", but whether you realize it or not, that is precisely what it is. You are deluding yourself, Gail. What you are doing is NOT an example of psychic phenomenon.

Unless you are prepared to accept a test protocol that adheres to scientific standards, we cannot accept your claim for testing. This is made wholly clear in the Challenge rules, which I strongly suggest you read once again, very, very carefully.

hello, I just wanted to make sure about 3 individuals. 3 done in one hour i can not do but 3 in 2 hours i can or did u mean 3/1 per hour is ok but i need a break after i do 2 of them. I do need them to say their first names---1 to 3 times when they first sit down or within first 5 to 10 minutes. I also want to make sure that I can say anything/any vision that I see. I would like the individual to have a deck of cards-you or I can provide-new--that they hold or whatever while I talk to them. I also do need 3 items of theirs, that belong to them only. thank you gail hagan

It took about 3 minutes after I sent our REJECTED notice to Gail for me to receive this:

I want to know if you even know what a real psychic or spiritual advisor is? I am not telling you my fantasies and whatever else you keep saying about facts. I told you exactly what I can do. Psychic abilities do not conform to what you are asking me, they vary from person to person. I cannot pin it down to an exact science. For the business you state that you are all in, you try to categorise it into a specific block, I am sorry but I do not fit into that block. You keep telling me that I cannot give you much information but yet you accuse me of being rediculous, not being able to answer your questions. You believe that telling someone their age is more real then tellilng them about their life and how to change it? You are putting it on videotape and stated that you will discuss it with the individual when I am done with my testing. I believe that you are very closed minded individual and that you have no intentions of finding a real spiritual/psychic person. My opinion is that you are being rediculous. I had called on this test not knowing that there was a million dollars to go for. I just wanted to take the test because I am tired of people like you tellling me that I dont know what I am talking about when actually, it is you and your kind that do not know what they are talking about. I am done with your accusations and thank you for your time on this matter. So I will not be taking your rediculous test. I have told you what and how I do my psychic abilities. You stated it is up to me to show you. alright then, we agreed upon me talking to 3 individuals and you videotaping the sessiion(s) and discussing what I had said. Most people that I use my psychic abilities on, have the same opinion that you have until I am done talking with them. Then they have a totally different attitude about me. Then I answer their yes and no or alot of information questions. The paper that had the rules said that be sure you know what you are talking about so you yourself do not make a fool of self. I do not believe that I will make a fool of me. I this still does not help you to allow me to take the test, thank you gail hagan
