Things have gotten entirely out of hand.

PARIS (Reuters) - U.S. citizens have turned on French fries and toast to vent their frustration at France's anti-war stance on Iraq (news - web sites). Now the French have joined in the food war -- with pretzels. A French Web Site is urging people to send pretzels to U.S. President, who fainted and fell off a sofa in January 2002 after gagging on the salty snack.

Now calm down richard....the only reason Saddam is still there to give the french something to kiss is because the USA abandoned the Iraqi resistance at the end of gulf war one. Remember that one richard? Thats the one where America called on Iraqi anti-saddam forces to rise up against Saddam, promised to support them then ran off and left them to thier fate. Seems they figured that Saddam would be an easier to manage prospect than some unknown replacement. Saddam has now served his purpose and is of no further value to the USA. He is unlikely to attack Iran for you again. So now its time to knock him on the head and get a new one....

We encouraged the uprisings and then backed out of promised support to let them get massacred. Why?
