Four-legged chicken

"How do they taste?"
"Dunno, we haven't managed to catch one yet"

That's nothing. Every Thanksgiving John Madden finds a 8 legged turkey to cook.

I found a four-legged chicken embryo inside an egg once, but I think it was not viable.

Was that because you'd cooked it?:p
No, it was raw! I think it must have been a 10-18 day embryo, being used for research so it was removed from the shell before its time. I kept it for a while as a curiosity, but it looked more grim than entertaining.

Yeh, almost like it was an "abomination unto you". Lev 11:20 :)

But it wasn't the extra legs that led to its death, more likely an extra anus, Mrs Dickey believes.
So much for the geneticist character on South Park who was forever creating creatures with many ani. I'm sure someone'e got the good quotes, the best I can come up with is from the Simpsons: "[Squawk] Polly shouldn't be!".

Every year Texas A&M has a veterinary school open house. One of the things they have is a booth with all of the mutations they've found. The students love to work that booth so they get to talk about two headed calves and snakes, chicken with teeth, cats with two tails, and the kitten with no lower intestine.

ps. Dave, get back to work.
