I don't remember any think like this, except, perhaps for Hurricane Katrina.

There was a big flood in 1995 (I know, because I was in New Orleans at the time), which was caused by very heavy rain, not associated with a hurricane.

These can be tied to climate change. Not each individual event, but the expected future regularity of these once in a decade/century/millennium events. Of course, that whole distinction will be too nuanced and complicated for the average climate change denialist to understand...
