I just read an article from September 12, 2002. Maybe this has
been debunked before but here are their claims:

UA93: THE EVIDENCE

THE WITNESSES
At least SIX witnesses, including Susan Mcelwain saw a small military
type plane flying around shortly BEFORE UA93 crashed. The FBI denies
its existence

THE DEBRIS
The US Government insists the plane exploded on impact yet a one-ton
section of the engine was found over a mile away and other light debris
was found scattered over eight miles away

THE MOBILE CALL
Passenger Edward Felt made an emergency call from the plane. He spoke
of an explosion and seeing some white smoke. The superviser who took
the call has been gagged by the FBI

THE F-16s
UA93 was identified as a hijack at 9.16am. At 9.35am three F-16s were
ordered to "protect the White House at all costs" when it turned towards
the capital. At 10.06am it crashed at Shanksville, less than 10mins flying
time from Washington

THE BLACK BOXS
Sources claim the last thing heard on the cockpit voice recorder is the
sound of wind - suggesting the plane had been holed

THE SONIC BOOM
The FBI insists there was no military plane in the area but at 9.22am a
sonic boom - caused by a supersonic jet - was picked up by an earth-
quake monitor in southern Pennsylvania, 60 miles away from Shanksville.

There's nothing wrong with the Daily Mirror as entertainment - the footy section is very good.

I wouldn't call it the bastion of factual reporting though :)

Well, i know the C130 story and this is the guy who flew it:

But let´s start with the eyewitnesses who claim this about
a small Jet (Learjet):

Susan Mcelwain participated in the following events as an activeparticipant:

(Before and After 10:06 a.m.) September 11, 2001: Witnesses See Low-Flying, Small White Jet at Flight 93 Crash

A second plane, described “as a small, white jet with rear engines and no discernible markings,” is seen by at least nine witnesses flying low and in erratic patterns, not much above treetop level, over the crash site within minutes of the United flight crashing. [Independent, 8/13/2002]

Lee Purbaugh: “I didn’t get a good look but it was white and it circled the area about twice and then it flew off over the horizon.” [Mirror, 9/12/2002]

Susan Mcelwain: Less than a minute before the Flight 93 crash rocked the countryside, she sees a small white jet with rear engines and no discernible markings swoop low over her minivan near an intersection and disappear over a hilltop, nearly clipping the tops of trees lining the ridge. [Bergen Record, 9/14/2001] She later adds, “There’s no way I imagined this plane—it was so low it was virtually on top of me. It was white with no markings but it was definitely military, it just had that look. It had two rear engines, a big fin on the back like a spoiler on the back of a car and with two upright fins at the side. I haven’t found one like it on the Internet. It definitely wasn’t one of those executive jets. The FBI came and talked to me and said there was no plane around. ... But I saw it and it was there before the crash and it was 40 feet above my head. They did not want my story—nobody here did.” [Mirror, 9/12/2002]

Dennis Decker and/or Rick Chaney, say: “As soon as we looked up [after hearing the Flight 93 crash], we saw a midsized jet flying low and fast. It appeared to make a loop or part of a circle, and then it turned fast and headed out.” Decker and Chaney described the plane as a Learjet type, with engines mounted near the tail and painted white with no identifying markings. “It was a jet plane, and it had to be flying real close when that 757 went down. If I was the FBI, I’d find out who was driving that plane.” [Bergen Record, 9/14/2001]

Kathy Blades, who is staying about quarter of a mile from the impact site, runs outside after the crash and sees a jet, “with sleek back wings and an angled cockpit,” race overhead. [Philadelphia Daily News, 11/18/2001]

Anna Ruth Fisher says, “After the crash, another jet went near over to look.” Her mother, Anna B. Fisher, adds, “We were looking at the smoke cloud when we saw the jets circling up there.” [Kashurba, 2002, pp. 27]

Jim Brandt sees a small plane with no markings stay about one or two minutes over the crash site before leaving. [Pittsburgh Channel, 9/12/2001]

Bob Page sees a large plane circling the crash site for about two or three minutes, before climbing almost vertically into the sky. He cannot see what kind of plane it is or if there are any markings on it, but says, “It sure wasn’t no puddle jumper.” [Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, 9/12/2001]

Tom Spinelli: “I saw the white plane. It was flying around all over the place like it was looking for something. I saw it before and after the crash.” [Mirror, 9/12/2002] The FBI later says this was a Fairchild Falcon 20 business jet, directed after the crash to fly from 37,000 feet to 5,000 feet and obtain the coordinates for the crash site to help rescuers. [Pittsburgh Channel, 9/15/2001; Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, 9/16/2001] The FBI also says there was a C-130 military cargo aircraft flying at 24,000 feet about 17 miles away (see 10:08 a.m. September 11, 2001), but that plane wasn’t armed and had no role in the crash. [Pittsburgh Channel, 9/15/2001; Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, 9/16/2001] Note that this is the same C-130 that flies very close to Flight 77 right as that planes crashes into the Pentagon (see 9.36 a.m. September 11, 2001).

Not sure what there is to discuss that hasn't been covered already. Old article, got everything wrong. That's why I don't get my news from the Mirror, the National Enquirer, or Hustler. :)

The Weekly World News, however, is worth a subscription.

Reading the Daily Mirror fromm online posts find that it is rabidly ant-American
It seems to publish all sorts of CT articles in an effort to demonize the US.

Now back to the article

Flight 93 was not hijacked until (based on radio transmissions) until 9:28AM

NEADS did not even know of Flight 93 until 10 minutes after it has crashed

The "military plane" described by witnesses has been identified as Falcon
Jet which has 2 rear mounted engines. The Coast Guard uses Falcons
as a search and rescue aircraft under designation HU 25 The plane
was requested by the FAA at Johnstown - Cambria airport, 30 miles north of
Shanksville to do a fly over and verify that Flight 93 had crashed and fix its
location.

The so called debris field consisted of a fan from from one of the engines
which rolled down hill several hundred yards from the impact location - not
miles . Some light paper and foil insulation blew into Indian Lake about
1 1/2 miles from the impact site.

The Felt phone call - one of the few true cellphone calls (the rest were from
Airphones) reporting the "explosion noises" can probably be explained by
the passengers fighting to regain the aircraft. The time of call - 9:58 AM
corresponds with the passenger upraising. The cockpit recorder picked up
sounds of breaking dishes and banging sounds - the passenger were supposed to have used a food cart as a battering ram to force the cabin door.

Sonic boom - again Flight 93 not hijacked until 9:28 - also location of
sesmograph was at Millerville university near Lancaster at the opposite end
of PA (used to live near there and been to Millersville U on many occasions)
Was supposed to have recorded not sonic boom but crash, investigations
concluded that the sesmic signals were inconclusive.

Problem is that such bilge fuels the CT nut cases who point to it appearing
in a legitimate publication as "proof"

Well, i´m no expert about all the Shanksville curiosities but i´m
wondering if Susan Mcelwain saw the Falcon 20 Jet or Flight 93.
She claims it was a small plane.

I didn´t find something about her in here, here´s what she said:
