Firefox cache question - probably minor to most, but important to me.

Firefox cache question

How does one go about searching cache files in Firefox?

I know how to do so in IE, but not in FF. The question arises because an email that I'd composed, saved in draft part way through, then completed and sent later, got lost in cyberspace. I wanted to search the cache files in order to reconstruct it without having to do so completely by memory, but I was unable to figure out how to do so.

Any assistance will be appreciated.

Thank you both.

So far, no luck retrieving what I am looking for, but I really appreciate your help.

Cheers,

I'm not aware of Firefox storing emails, just Internet site files.

To find stored emails, I followed this path (XP Pro):

C:\Documents and Settings\"user name"\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\hojtb28r.default\Mail\
Local Folders

My email folder files were listed there. When I double-clicked the "Sent" folder, a dialogue box opened asking which program I should use to open the file. Thunderbird wasn't listed, so I tried Firefox, and it opened, showing all the emails stored there including those that were deleted a long time ago.

Hope that helps.
