Finally...proof positive

It's obviously a fake. Americans had not yet risen to that level of cynicism in the 70s.
 
They could have been typed in the early 1970s.

And maybe I watched The Care Bears on our family's flat-panel HDTV as a young boy back in 1983.
 
The sad thing about the "real" memo was that it affirmed every innuendo the John Birch conspiracy left has made. It should have been obvious that something wasn't kosher with it.
