Final Cut: No Theaters?

I gotta hand it to Avery. He's a master spin-doctor.

Quite a few members on LCF had brought up the lack of LC:FC in theaters and how it's going to be released on DVD in November and how Mark Cuban sunk the whole prospect of getting this POS in your local Regal Cinema. Generally, an air of desperation and frustration from some truthers.

Dylan responds:

Numerous individuals contacted us about putting LC2E in theaters. And a couple are interested in the Final Cut. In the meantime, the info and the movie needs to get out there.

So.... knowing full well that the movie has no shot of making it into theaters (especially if it's being released on DVD), he plays martyr by playing like there's interest, but it's just not happening quick enough, and goshdarnit, the truth must be set free....

Wish I punched him when I saw him on Tuesday.
 
So am I right to believe that the only way to get your hands on the twoof is by buying a DVD?

No free version?

From "we're gonna be at Sundance" to peddling it on-line.

Good idea. I mean who wouldn't want to show a movie in their theater when its already at the local Blockbuster (or in the case of LCFC, being handed out for free by kids in black t-shirts)...

Let's see if the idiots at LCF are dumb enough to fall for this latest BS from their Dear Leader.

Ridiculous, yes, but effective given his target audience of misfit 15 year olds. He is their god. It's incredibly pathetic. It's disheartening to see kids led astray by a charlatan. It's even more disheartening when that charlatan is of very limited intelligence.

At least their stupidity is somewhat mitigated by their immaturity. Impetuous youth and all that. Their enabling parents have no such excuse. They're not doing us any favors, allowing their kids to ferment in stupidity before unleashing them on the world in a few short years.

Many will become regulars at St. Mark's Church, no doubt.

Indeed.

All of those lofty claims: "We're going to be at Sundance"; "We're going to be at Cannes"; "We're going to be at the Toronto International Film Festival"; "We are going to be opening on 3000 theatre screens"; "We have a $20 million budget"; etc., etc.

Are now reduced to: "Please pre-purchase Version 4: The Final Insult on DVD before it's even completed. Trust us."

Pathetic, really.

I actually found a trailer for the final cut after some looking, unsure who did it and it seems out of sync but the movie looks pretty funny....

Thanks and don't worry! It was my own fault. I should have known that using a certain fashion label instead of a curse word could be against the rules. But yay me for trying ;)

The truth will be released in 300 theaters and will be delayed to avoid clashing with Spiderman 3!

The truth will be released in 70 theaters in the UK

The truth will be a theatrical release after Sept. 11th 2007!



Oh sod it, It'd be a shorter list if we just keep track of the promised Do over has kept.
