The FBI has arrested a leader of the terrorist organization, the Islamic Jihad.

The Islamic Jihad is a terrorist group that operates in the middle east and is best known for blowing up buses full of innocent Israeli school children, and building backpack bombs for suicide bombers that are loaded with nails, glass and other objects to use against Israeli civilians.

Now, one would think that a leader of the Islamic Jihad would be some leftist middle-eastern politician or former Egyptian soldier or something of that variety.

But no, one of the leaders was in America teaching at an American university. Americans who paid college tuition to that college helped support terrorism. The college itself helped support terrorism by giving this guy a headquarters and platform to be a component of the terrorist organization.

I hope the FBI is just starting to unravel this wicked conspiracy and bring down the university terrorism problem in America. It appears to be rather extensive.

We've been hearing about this guy here in Florida for quite a while and this arrest is hardly unexpected.

Where did you see that he was a leader of Islamic Jihad? All I've heard is that he's suspected of helping raise funds and in getting people into the country, and even THOSE allegations are from an "unnamed source."

Now I've heard him enough to know he's a monumental schmuck, and I suspect that more info will come out supporting the FBI's theory, but I'm given to wonder why you'd label him as such before anyone else has.

The FBI said he is a leader of some type with the Islamic Jihad. My question is not whether or not this guy was a leader of a terrorist group, but how many more terrorists are hanging out in teaching slots on American university campuses.

That is a question the FBI should look into very, very extensively at campuses across America.

I doubt that we have a serious problem with terrorist organization fund raising college professors. This particular professor's activities were "outed" on the O'Reilly Factor over a year ago.

The FBI had also been investigating this professor since 1995, so it is not as if his arrest came as a surprise to the authorities.

As someone who objected to professor Al-Arian's treatment by authorities on earlier occasions, I want to weigh in and say that I think they're getting it right this time.

Arrest, charge, present evidence. If the evidence is there, lock him up, and I'll be thrilled.

What I didn't like was the previous efforts of circumventing the judicial process.

The reason this terrorist organizer was able to walk freely for so long is the protectionism of the criminal class in this country. It takes police years to accumulate enough evidence against guys like that because the FBI knows that the criminal apologists would do anything they could to free him or get him off the charges.

The Islamic Jihad kills Jews as a proxy force for many international Jew haters and I am sure those folks will supply that terror professor with the best lawyers money can buy to defend him. That is why the FBI was patient and did a great job nailing him and seven others. They had that guy under surveillance since the 1980's. That is twenty years of evidence lol.

They even taped the guy calling America "the Great Satan", even as the guy was a college professor. We do not want nor need guys like him in our country.

A nasty terror cell cracked, as the article describes.

Read the counts against these guys and then ask yourselves why one was a college professor employed at an American university.

Of course it takes them years! What would you rather have, a situation where it takes the FBI only two days to realize that someone is getting bad? We had that kind of control over here from 33 to 45 in the west and up 89 in the east - even in multi color :D It wasn't funny as far as I've been told.
