As I was waiting in the line to pass through Immigration at JFK airport the other night (returning from vacation in Italy), I was watching Anderson Cooper on CNN on TV's provided by the airport. I was greeted by the face and voice of Jerry Falwell expounding on beastiality, somehow related (in the minds disgusting perverts) to the topic of gay marriage. That was a fine how-do-you-do.

I'm always amazed at the imagination of those prophets of virtue, when it comes to sexual perversions ...

Falwell does seem rather obsessed with homosexuality. It's like he thinks about it constantly or something. That's not at all suspicious.

Gotta admit, Falwell's an expert on perverts...

I'm not sure I understand what beastiality has to do with this. Is Falwell putting forth the proposition that if a man has sexual desires for another man, it therefore follows that he must also desire goats?

Is Falwell concerned that laws will be passed permitting marriage between a man and a goat? If so, any effort he makes to block passage of such a law will have my enthusiastic approval.

If he is not concerned that such a law might be passed, then why should his views on goat-plugging be aired on CNN?

It's entirely personal for Falwell. He's afraid that if man/goat unions are blessed by Massachusetts, he'll get pestered by his goat-girl Sylvia (nod to Edward Albee) for a real commitment.
