A friend of mine recently posted this (to his Facebook) in response to Obama's order to lift the ban on public funding for embryonic stem cell research:
Obviously this is a religion-based website trying to masquerade as a scientific website (hello, ID!). I think it's Family Research Council, but I can't be sure. I'm trying to find a way to approach him about this, but I'm not finding good sites (or threads here) that have an objective comparison between embryonic v. adult stem cells. My main tact will start with the fact that he's using a website that is based in moral/religious arguments hiding behind a scientific facade. I don't have a problem if people want to argue against embryonic stem cell research from a moral/religious standpoint, but don't try to pretend it's science. I'm just having a hard time finding a source from which I can base my argument in layman's terms. Help?
