I can't honestly say whether he believes that, but that wasn't the first mass death sentence meted out by that particular judge this year - shortly before sentencing that group of 720 to death, he'd also sentenced 529 people to death.

Regardless of what the judge is saying now, though, those death sentences have nothing to do with demons or Jews, and everything to do with the Egyptian military government wanting to burn the Muslim Brotherhood to the ground and scatter its ashes.
